While on PrEP

Now that you have your PrEP prescription, there are a number of important things you will need to consider while on PrEP. These include:

  • Your PrEP regimen (how frequently you take PrEP) and adherence (how closely you follow that regimen)

  • Monitoring and follow-up screening (to make sure you’re remaining healthy while on PrEP)

  • Possible side effects and PrEP interactions

  • What you should do if you decide to stop taking PrEP
